A friend's daughter had a lovely wedding at her local church in Escondido and had the reception at the Orfila Winery overlooking the San Pasqual valley. It was gorgeous. another beautiful location is at the gazebo at san dieguito park on the edge of Rancho Santa Fe. If you contact San Diego county parks you can get the information on availability and rental.
Also, if your budget can handle it, we attended a lovely wedding and reception at the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe.
For myself, I got married in Laguna Beach at the gazebo there overlooking the ocean. $25 rental fee (24 years ago...) but the best scenery around. Didn't need a florist!!

I got married on the cliffs at Bird Rock beach near la jolla shores and had the reception at Karl Strauss Brewery and Gardens in Sorrento Valley- it was gorgeous!

La Jolla is the most beautiful place to get married especially by the beach you only need a permit if you're serving drinks and or are having a DJ.

my friend got married on the beach in coronado....also at the bahia by the bay.... pretty nice.
