Michael Gambon - the second
I personaly liked Richard Harris, he was light and happy and warm, the new one is to aggresive and mean. He needs to lighten up and speak in a lighter voice.

RICHARD HARRIS (RIP) i can go on and on and on with this.. the new guy is so mean and aggressive. i dont like the new guy.. he doesnt do anything for the movies... richard was happy and warm and he was light and he was great. i loved it that he gave the essence to the movies and how he connected with the stars... just something about him made me want to be next to him in the movie... he was the best and will be missed.. the movies arent the same...

Richard Harris. I cannot for the life of me understand what made them cast Michael Gambon. Have you seen the Chronicles of Narnia, The lion, the witch and the wardrobe? The guy who played Santa Claus would have been a great Dumbledore.

I like Richard Harris better. That's probably because he was the first & set the tone. Gambon is alright, I'm not a fan of his, I think they could have casted someone better for the part. I think Ian McKellen, the guy who played "Gandalf" in Lord of the Rings, would have made a perfect fit.

The Richard Harris the first way much better because he had the whole wizard vibe. The second one (Michael Gambon)is just another talentless actors.

I completely agree, I loved the first Dumbledore, the new one is not the same. Rest in peace Richard Harris.

I liked Richard Harris. Gambon is alright... I guess you tend to like the one you started with.

I think in most cases, fans have gotten used to Richard Harris (RIP). I also prefer him over Gambon. But I guess he isn't that bad... =/

The second one was supposed to be more gruff and serious. Harry Potter started taking a turn towards darkness after the first one. Things started to happen and Voldemort was coming back in the second, he was right around the corner in the third, and finally made an appearance in the fourth. Those weren't happy times.
