Do you gawk and leer at the questions and answers in the same way that you would with a terrible train wreck?

I understand simple typos or dangling participles, etcetera (the English language is difficult, especially when you're typing it) but at least learn to use a question mark. No, ellipses aren't a good way to end every sentence.

Yes, I put a comma before "and." That's the proper way to do it despite current, popular opinion.

Yes, it is just the internet. It's a good place to practice before an employer decides not to hire you because of the English language abuse on your résumé or that McDonald's application.

It's simply a place to have fun asking and answering questions. Many of the participants use I/M language. I also think that many of the users try to type really quickly to get their answer submitted faster. This results in typos.
So just enjoy it for what it is.

Yes. Yes it is. My biggest peeve that I see in people's questions/answers is improper use of there/their/they're and your/you're. It abso-fricken-lutely drives me up the wall! They teach the proper usage in what... 2nd or 3rd grade?? I hardly believe there are any 1st graders on this site. It's not that hard a thing to figure out, people! Grrrrrr!
