Ps. Scurvydogs is completely incorrect. First of all, it's Betta not "Beta". Second of all they can not be put with cichlids... And third of all, have you ever seen a 20cm long Betta?...

Is this also a type of cichlid? I'd consider ones with the nuchal hump as "grumpy looking":
