I was helping get my daughter's ready for prom tonight....was exhausting really! Do you remember all the work that went in it?(The dress, getting the hair and nails done...the makeup.)

I do remember!
I had lots of fun! Getting ready took a long time, but that was all part of it.

Good memories-- thanks! :)

Hi Erica , I didn't go to mine because I split with my gf just before the prom . She was graduating the next year. The year after that I did go to a prom as a co-workers date . Her mom was far more excited than we were , but it was fun . I didn't get any ( I hope that's not tmi ) .

Junior or Senior Prom?

Junior Prom - my date canceled 2 days before. His Grandfather died. So my cousin was my date. We still had fun. Went to IHOP for breakfast the next morning with several of my classmates and my sister and another cousin got kicked out plus our waiter was drunk. The dress was simple and so was the hairstyle.

Senior Prom- OMG!!!! My mom bought me a beautiful Black dress that showed A LOT of cleavage. She also bought these expensive nylons that ripped when I put them on because of the stupid fake nail tips I had applied. We had to rush to Walgreens to but pantyhose and Pads ( my cycle had just started!!!) We get to my dates house and his mom let me in. I had to rush to their guest bathroom to put on tights. But besides that it was agreat night.

The issue with the cleavage??? --- My date (future boyfriend) put a hickey on my breast during a slow dance!!!

i didnt even go to my own, my girlfriend at the time went to a diffrent school and going to hers was bad enough. there was no way i could have handled all of that crap twice, especially not twice in one month.
