Sure. But it sucks in traffic.

I'm strictly automatic now too, but I learnt to drive with a 5 speed. I prefer driving automatic, but if you have a fast car, driving stick is the only way!

I learned to drive on a 3 speed on the column. I much prefer an automatic. The only standard I'd drive now would be in a sports car.

I find sticks a little small...I prefer to drive a small branch or limb.
Hahaha..
No really...I learnt to drive a manual car and although I now have an automatic, I'm happy I learnt in a manual as I can drive anyone elses car if I need to (I'm pregnant so find myself the 'skipper' if everyone else is drinking!)

I thought I could...But when it was time to park, I pushed the clutch and forgot to hit the brakes too. Bumped into the car that was parked facing me...no damage to the outside of the cars but the handle on the inside of the door that the passenger was hanging on to fell off. It was funny & I haven't tried to drive a stick shift since..

Yes. I learned how to drive that first. I actually prefer them to automatics. I think you have more control over the car.

Not well. I have trouble on a hill. My car is Automatic. Plus I live in ATL, not a good place for a stick shift.

Yes, I can drive a stick. We have two cars. One's an automatic, one's a stick. Oh, and I mostly use my motorcycle to commute to work. That's like a stick-and-a-half.
