In this movie people have to fight to survive major climate shift. It appears that only a few (when looking at world population as a whole) survive.
Has anyone watched this movie and thought "Thats really what needs to happen"?
I wonder because it seems it would take care of an over population problem as well as rid some weaker links out of the gene pool and maybe make people stop and think about what is really important in life and actually just to be alive that they would get along (at least for a day or two)
What do you think...would something like this really be all that bad for the world?

How would I like it if I were in that situation...gee how stupid is that? It would suck pretty bad yes, but I would either be strong and survive or die.
It will happen at some point anyway they way the planet is abused...maybe I am just wishing it would happen sooner.

silly girl , global warming doesnt exist, and the polar ice caps arent melting like they say they are either , infact the have been melting like that for billions of years, all that will happen is , more water will freeze and take its place, the polar ice caps get TALLER as they become frozen from the bottom, the higher they get the faster they evaporate, once they are down to there original sea level height , they will start this process all over again , its called capping, and scientists have been trying to prove this for 40 or so years.

With that logic, was Virginia Tech a great event? It lowered the population. Yippie! Iraq War has killed tens/hundreds of thousands. Yippie! AIDS in Africia. Yippie millions more!
