Oh hell yes! Rent "The Great Gatsby" and you'll see what I mean. Or rent out "The Way We Were". Robert Redford was THE hearthrob in my day (even though I was in the 6th grade) and he STILL looks pretty good for his age. Oh yes, he was MUCH better looking than Brad. Of course, this is only my personal opinion. Redford was very charismatic and had a lot of class. Still does. I have yet to see the same qualities in Brad Pitt.

They could play father and son roles now because Brad Pitt looks amazingly like a young Robert Redford.

I'd say so, yes. In his prime Robert Redford was almost ethereally beautiful, beyond handsome. Brad Pitt is close to that, but have you seen photos of him when he hasn't shaved for awhile? Brad Pitt can look pretty skanky if he doesn't watch his upkeep.
As for as which will age better, granted Redford hasn't aged well and my guess is Brad Pitt may age better but in the aging well category, NOBODY beats Paul Newman!

Brad Pitt looks so much like a young Robert Redford that it's hard to tell them apart - so I can't say if Robert Redford was better looking ... they look the same. Robert Redford was (and is) a better actor, though.

They look so much alike that they could be related. However, I would say that Robert Redford was terrifically handsome and still is!
