There, there, now....
I have just wrapped your foot and ankle with a nice secure Ace bandage and have it elevated on some pillows on your footstool.
Now take this......very good. That's just some Ibuprofen to keep down the inflammation.
Now, honestly, how many times do I have to tell you that you should use ICE for first aid!! It's really too late for that now, but you really could have kept the swelling and the pain down if you had only iced it right after the injury.
I'll just remind you again: Think RICE.
RICE= Rest (get off of it!), Ice (first few hours), Compression (that's what the Ace bandage is for) and Elevation (get it up there!
Now put your foot back up on those pillows!----I don't care if it IS Saturday night and everyone else is going out. You are staying home and taking care of that foot! I mean it.)
Well, OK....but just a small one...
(*kiss*)
There, now.....
All better?

Soak your foot and ankle in hot vinegar water, it will help to pull the pain out.
