For some reason some mistake me for a man because of the way I write- my avatar is female as am I. 100 % !

Never. I would hope not since I always put my pictures up as my avatar. Even though this one is hella blurry when it's that small, I'd hope people would still think I'm a woman *lol*

It has happened a few times, but I usually stick with a female photo...most people just aren't paying attention anyway. It shouldn't matter what gender we are here, for the most part...

Never : Female avatar = female. I would've thought you were a guy because of your avatar too. If you want people to know you are female without a female avatar, you should use a VERY female name. If it doesn't bother you, keep it as it is.

Frequently, I would assume. But since my avatar is Howard Stern and my "handle" is sort o f non-gendered, I can't blame them. Nor do I mind-I ain't lookin' fer love baybeee!

None I keep the female avatars so that people know what I am. Thats your option and if people don't like that they go to hell in a handbasket where they can shove their religions in others faces. I know that you don't like that either. many hugs. =)
