Yahoo news is media and they are all about the "big" story. The fact that my sister's knitting circle regularly sends many hand knit items to the soldiers for the cold desert nights is boring, uninteresting and doesn't make the big circuit news. But racial, homosexual, religious, anti-war, anti-conservative, etc issues are big because they rile people up on one side or the other.
I don't care if she wants to dress like a guy. Heck, stick a rolled sock in her pants to make her feel better. I don't care; it's her life. But no, she should not be able to run for Prom King anymore than I as a woman could be a Roman Catholic priest.
JMHO. If you don't like it go ahead and rant at me. By the way, I don't give a crap about that either.
