All power needs is your knowledge that they're the ones in control and statements that include you, like the one that starts with "We the people...", to make youfeel like your part of the whole. I think the forefathers would be either in disgust or in lust with what's going down. Thanks. Does "remember, remember the fifth of November" sound familiar to you?
OK. Two questions then...

THIS is a GREAT question.....it is my personal belief that the constitution, Bill of Rights, and all of the Articles....AND their Amendments should be taught and taught and then re-read periodically...for there is ONLY UNITY IN NUMBERS.
FEW and I really mean FEW people are aware of these things....perhaps if Article 7 was to be proposed, just how many people would understand straight off? I would. I admit I do NOT know, for I will NOT Bullshit RE: the 5th of November, so I am well aware that i am not up for best here, however I am NOT here for that reason....... People more than tend to follow as lambs and their petty & insignificant perpetualities of common and close politics......Until it is time to vote...better yet, to ACT rather than REACT. I plead the 5th ammendment here in order to keep the 1st...which is a fast and diminishing reality.......(sadly)~I conclude that we now live in a country NOT united, I am surprised that each state uses the same currency...well perhaps we ought to define 'Currency"....MINE IS "TIME". Do I believe that the Government is afraid of us? No....they are leary and subversive....I am NOT afraid of them.......
Great Question & Thank You For Posting It.....

In The United States of America our Constitution (2nd Amendment) confirms our right to keep and bear arms so that our government will fear the people. Without that right we would be slaves like most of the rest of the world's people.
We the people of The United States of America are armed, and dangerous to those who would enslave us. In America we the people have that power, and if we must, we will overthrow any government that tries to deny us our rightful power, just as we did in 1776 when we threw off the yoke of oppression the English monarchy tried to impose on us. America stand for human freedom, and we help those who seek to be free.

We should be afraid of our government because Bush is a moron and Cheney is scary.

As for "Remember, remember the fifth of November" is probably a poem about some election. It is also my sister's birthday, so that is what I think of when I hear that date.

If ONLY they were afraid of us. But alas, American Idol, Anna Nicole Smith news and Nascar races are too important to miss.

V for Vendetta -- a great story.
