When I was in Daytona Beach a few years ago. I just love the sound and scent of the surf, the sun on my shoulders. Its a great way to spend an afternoon. I wish I lived by the ocean.

Last summer with my daughter and my sister in law. It was quite fun, until we ran upon a million ants (who knows what they were doing on the beach) and my sister in law freaked out because she is scared of ALL bugs. Actually, seeing her running and screaming from tiny ants was the BEST part *lol* And we got some cool shells.

If any of them are conch form shells, that's conceivable there remains a skeleton interior. and it is going to reason an scent. actual wash them, air dry them and then "paint" them with ModPodge. it is going to seal up the holes. once you've any tiny adequate, they seem gorgeous prepared on a timber image body. The medium length ones will be made into magnets, with the disk form magnet available at Michaels, WalMart.,etc...

a long time ago... i miss ft. lauderdale. i live in san antonio. corpus christi's beach is BROWN, never will go there and swim or collect shells.
