At my house I have a wireless network setup. I have one computer running Windows XP which is hooked up to a Linksys wireless router. On my other computer which has Windows vista use a US Robotics wireless chip to pick up internet. Whenever I am using the Vista computer I will be on the internet fine and then all of a sudden I will try loading a page and it will say something like "cannot communicate with the proxy server." What does this mean!?!

Please help me it is getting very frustrating. If someone is really good with this kind of thing and good let me email them that would be great too.

Thanks!

Before you go too mad, go to the explorer tools/internet options and lan settings. Turn OFF all the buttons, the autodetect proxy may be the culprit. If this does not cure it keep an eye on the wireless signal strength, Vista seems to throw some odd messages at times, it might be referring to the router. Don't forget to turn the firewall on when you fix the problem.

Your internet connection isn't configured properly. Somehow you enabled a Proxy Server in Windows or on your router.

Call your ISP, they will help you. If they can't, they will tell you to call your router vendor.
