When i click on my computer nothing shows up in the window.?

everything else is fine but when i do that i get the hour glass thing and then nothing. when i close the window my computer looks like it is refreshing. what can i do.

Try to do a system restore to a point where you did not have that problem.

Check that you do not have a cd in the drive, if the machine is having problems reading the cd it hangs. The same may apply to memory cards, but I have never seen that.

double click it and wait. wait like 5 minutes. Then when it finally comes up remove ALL network connections.
