If it will crank but won't start, the only thing that could cause this problem is either no spark or no fuel. Spark is easy, pull a spark plug wire off of a spark plug but leave it connected to the distributor. Get a screw driver and touch inside the plug wire and hold it close to another metal on the car (make sure you are not touching any metal, just the rupper on the wire and the plastic handle of the screwdriver) now have someone crank the engine. You hould see a spark, if you don't, replace the cap and rotor. If that doesn't fix it replace the wires and plugs, then try the coil. If you are still not getting spark, you have a more serious problem, and you need to get it hooked up to a dianostics computer.
For fuel, turn the key to ignition, don't crank it just turn it on, you should hear the fuel pump. If you don't, check the fuel pump by send power to it directly (best if you remove the pump from the car). If the pump starts pumping, its good, if not replace. If its good replace the fuel pump relay. If that doesn't fix it then you'll have a more serious problem, and again you need to get it hooked up to a dianostics computer.

Unplug the wire to the "MAss Air Flow sensor" and see if it starts!
That sensor is located between the air filter and the engine. Usually on a large black flex-hose, that allows the outside air to suck into the engine, via the air filter.
If it starts, then that is your problem. Replace it. Costs about $150.00
OR
The fuel pump is bad. Turn the igintion key on, but don't try to start the engine. The fuel pump will make a noise (from the gas tank). If you don't hear a noise, maybe the fuel pump is bad. But not always the case. See if you have gasoline pressure at the engine. Find a shrader-valve (looks like a tire air-valve) and depress the middle and see if gas sprays out. No gas pressure, then you have a fuel supply problem.

Make sure your lights, radio, a/c - anything that can drain power is OFF.
Make sure the little glowing light on the battery is visible - indicating it has sufficient ampherage to start the car.
(Get a jump - just for good measure).
Pump the gas pedal a few times and try it.
If that doesn't work, press gently on the gas pedal AS you try to start it.
Make sure you actually HAVE gas.
Add starter fluid.
Make SURE you are in park; take it out of park and then put it back in.
Make sure nothing is blocking your exhaust. Make sure you can see light THROUGH your air-filter - if you can't you're not getting enough air inside.
Call up Chevy and ask them - but be careful, they ARE out to make money after all.

Since it still crank when your trying to start it, it might be some kind of electrical problem. Here are some parts that you might want to look into, distributor, spark plugs and wires, gas pump and the gas lines. Also one more thing, do not try to pump the gas pedal alot of time when your trying to start it becasue if there is to much fuel in the clyinders the car won't start either.

That could be a million things, especially since the newer models are predisposed and linked in with chipboards. Be more specific, and you still will probably have to have a professional look at it. It is hard to extrapolate something like that in text.
You also may want to check ALL your fuses, the new ones won't do anything now without a fuse, then call a pro.

If the car is tuning over but not trying to fire it may be the coil pack. That is what has replaced the distributor and rotor. When it goes bad the engine gets no spark or gas. It either works or does not, it can not be repaired only replaced.

Hate to say it, but really it could be just about anything. Its hard to diagnose such a problem from just over the internet. Some have already mentioned the coil pack, that is a very good possibility. But really, without being there anything anyone says is really just a stab in the dark.

It could be any number of electrical or fuel problems: 1) are you getting spark to cylinders. Pull a spark plug wire and bring it as close to a ground as possible, is there a spark?, 2) check your fuses. A blown fuse could be to the alternator, fuel pump, etc.
