I do not want an autopsy to be performed on my body after I die. I was thinking of making a will, but most people's wills are not read until after burial, and by that time they will have performed an autopsy. I just do not want anyone cutting my body open or anything like that. I figure if I am dead it is too late anyway, so what need with all the extra stuff that comes with an autopsy? Even if I die mysteriously or if I am murdered, something that usually requires and autopsy, I DO NOT want one done to me. I am only 24 years old, so I plan on living a long time to come (hopefully) but tomorrow is never promised to me, and I want to be prepared.......what can I do to make sure my wishes are preserved after my death?

Well I am not exactly a "religious person", but I am very spiritual, and it is totally against my beliefs to have an autopsy performed on my body. Like I said even if I am murdered I do not want an autopsy done. Whoever muredered me would get what is coming to them one way or another through karma. What goes around comes around. If I am already dead it is not like it would improve situations or help give me my life back. There has got to be some way to get around it.......

Make sure they never find your body or live to be 110 years old and there would be no reason to do an autopsy
Catching the murderer is not for your benefit , it is for society's benefit so maybe we can stop the murderer from committing another murder .

You need to write a Living Will.
Talk to an attorney and draw up the Death prodical.
Sometimes this is out of your control.
If you are murdered or its a mystery to your death, then its a legal thing and you may have not choice unless its a religious belief.
You need that document at the hospital and attorney's office, a indication of that must be on your body, in your wallet, so be sure to carry some thing to that effect.
Best wishes.

i don't know i think the best thing to do is to tell as many loved ones as possible about that so they will be able to tell the doctors and ppl that have to do with that stuff not to preform and autopsy...
but i think if u were murdered or died mysteriously they have to preform it because they need evidence for things that might save people's lives in the future...
just think about it ur already dead so it doesn't matter and if they really need to figure out something they should to help the future...

Make a living will. But if you die due to circumstances beyond your control (such as you mentioned above or if your death is suspicious)and autopsy will be performed no matter what

except you not in any respect die, or die of something glaring (like getting hit via a practice) the state, the coverage organizations, etc all favor a reason behind lack of life. to ascertain that, they many times fillet you open like a fish and dissect all of your innards for the 'professional' reason. contact a legal professional on your state, if there is an after lack of life directive (corresponding to a will?) per chance they could help. because the alternative is there in maximum states to direct freely giving your organs (donor playing cards) there would nicely be an opposite directive.

The thing I guess to do would be a living will. You would also want to state that you wanted to be buried in a "natural state" (which occurs within 24 hours). When you are at the funeral home, they do all sorts of things to the body (take out fluids, put embalming fluid in), glue and sew body parts shut etc.

get a sign tattoo to your belly..saying don't open until x-mass 2060...good luck..I am sure if you get a lawyer and a will ..they could make it so..unless you die of unnatural cause..like homicide..
