Everyone has different ideas about displaying real pics and it really is up to each person as to what they do.
Being anonymous is one of the huge benefits of Y/A, and by displaying real photos of oneself somewhat breaches that invisibility.
That is not to say it is good or bad, just that each person has different levels of security they wish to maintain and pictures on Y/A fall within that realm.

No I wouldn't. If I ever manage to take a picture of myself I don't like a compleate idiot in then I'll post it on my 360.

Yes, this is me. Sometimes I change it to other pictures of me....in one of them I am covering my face with my hand. It's no big deal for me. My daughter went and put a ton of pics of her on her website. I told her not to give out too much info on herself though.

My avatar is my real picture, lightened, with a rainbow veil. I have real pics on my 360.

I would, as I say let's give em something to talk about lol might give some a good laugh... I use to have mine on here but now that married out of respect to my hubby not showing it, havent gotten any others yet ... but to your question Yes I would ....

I do not think it is a very good idea . I might scare everybody away and I have already broken several cameras this year.
