Depends.
I would be hesitant to judge, after having a neighbor with Christmas lights up in the summer, later to find that the wife was dying of cancer and wanted one last Christmas with her family. They did Christmas, for her, lights and all. And no, she didn't live until the next one- so it's a good thing.

Hey do whatever you like....people like you is what make the world go round. Sometimes the world is too boring and it brings people laughter to see different things at different times. Not like someone is going to harm you for doing it.

We put icicle lights in the trees in the back yard so we can use the pool after dark and not have a spotlight on us, it is kind of cool.

no, right on time...........that is the ultimate turning point when you can tell the wife that it's too late to take them down now because you are trying to be ahead next Christmas

My question is why does all of us experience like what their neighbor does is their project? Or, why is conformity such a controversy in our society? Or, why can we merely choose our homes to look heat, colourful and welcoming for 3 weeks a twelve months?
