Hey, I heard a line like this before in a book. A girl said, "If I was the ocean, what would you be?" and her husband-to-be who actually had cancer but didn't want to let his fiancee to know said, "Always know that I'll be the ground that supports the ocean. Don't forget it." Anyhow forgot the name of the book, but I do remember the book ends when the guy has already died and the girl is at the ocean, standing on the sandy floor underneath the water and crying happily because she knows he's nearby.

an air or earth. all the astrology stuff says i'm earth. my preference metaphorically speaking is for the skies, the concept of open space and height and freedom, hence air.

As opposed to fire & air. I think there is something to that. I am an earthy person, sensual & feel a connection to nature...
