Has anyone had a positive test 10 days before there period was due?? is that even possibele??

i took a test today and my period is due on the 2nd?? was that wayyy to early or what?? it came back neg :(

10 days before your period is due the fertlized egg probably wouldn't yet have implanted into the uterus, it would be on it's way down the tube. it has to implant, then start producing hormones before you can get a positive test. so don't let that negative get you done and don't test so early :)
easier said than done, if you want to test early, you can start about 5 days before your period is due, but for best results you really should hold off until more like 2 days before you are due.

I got a positive result 6 days after I ovulated/conceived, which was 8 days before my period was due. The line was very faint though. Most test wont tell you this early, I bought a very early pregnancy test on-line. You should test closer to when your period is due. Most will tell you up to 5 days before.

Wow, that's REALLY early! Even the early pregnancy tests say to wait until your period is 5 days from due. Know, though, that with those early pregnancy tests they are 69% accurate. The closer it is to your period, the more accurate the test. If you wait until a day before or the day of your period due date, then it's 99% accurate.

I know that "two-week wait" is a killer, but try to get through it so you don't try yourself crazy with constant negative results.
