Look at how many runs they've been giving up so far this season.

I agree with Nacnud. It's very early in the season but we can't ignore what has been happening. There was never any question that this team could score runs. I said before the season began that they would score 1000 runs before it's over. There are a bunch of guys on the DL so we need to get them back right away.

I wouldn't panic too much. Remember how last season began. It wasn't one of the best starts either but we all know how it ended. Another AL East title. I think a lot of our emotions have to do with the fact that it's the Red Sox who have taken two so far. It always hurts a little more when we drop a game or two to them. We're still the best team in baseball.

The Yankees have it under control. It sucks that they've been plagued with lots on the DL for the beginning of the season, but they always know what they're doing. Mussina should be coming back VERY soon, as well as Chien Men Wang (Forgive me if I got his name wrong. I'm horrible with names) and Hideki Matsui. The new starters/relief pitchers usually have it rough on their big debut or their first few times pitching for the season. But they do a lot better by the end of the season.
No worries.
Yankees ROCK!

No, because they've only played 16 games of their 162 game season. So nothing's clear yet. But Yankees get Wang back on Tues. and Mussina will be back in a week or so. If they can stay a .500 team during this stretch of injuries they will be fine. Hopefully they won't have to start Karstens again this spring.

No,not just yet the season just began,,it will be ok,Wangs comming back,So is the Moose,I'd rather have our pitchers on the DL early in the season, rather then have them on the DL
in the Middle of the season,I really do feel they should can Pavano, and bring up Hughes,Or call Roger back,FAST!! But i have to say this is really getting Painfull!!

They NEED to, but the big question is, "Will they"? Their payroll is already out of sight, and other teams really do not want to help them improve. So, it looks as though the Yankees are stuck for this year!!

Chow!!
