Depends upon the selectors may be they feel he is not worthy at the moment for the team

Why Pathan was dropped, because we have no perfect selectors. Pathan was getting his form back while he was dropped. The selection committee should have included him to the worldcup squad, so that we could have gone through the super 8 round.

Well, quite frankly his name sounds like python and the locals are freaked out at the prospect of snakes, so the selectors had to make a very difficult descision and well poor pathan got left on the bench, but you will see it will be for the good of the game, i think.

i don't why....he's a good player and a good batsman., no doubt. i think he should be in the so called squad. i think BCCI made a wrong decision by dropping Pathan. That;s the only mistake they did.

i think its bizarre selection policy ?pathan was selected for the world cup team ,never got to play a match and now he is dropped, really strange ?if he his not good enough to be selected now, why was he selected for the world cup team ?

He didnt play well enough just before the world cup and the selectors are more inclined to go with what they think is a sure thing....doesnt always work though

In my opinion the poor guy could not gather much TRP's(tantrum raising push) to merit the selector's attention. Any guy, better luck next time both with the bat and ball.

For a particular period of time, he was not in form, he gave off so many runs and didn't take much wickets. So they jus dropped him. He'll be included only if he has luck. I support him though!

he was too lazy to get selected to bowl..
he just sat there and let india loose
