the stats say that second time round relationships usually fall apart. The chances for success... not great. according to statistics compiled by Statistics Canada . From the psychological point of view, it's because what ever was perceived bad in the first marriage was never corrected and the same mistakes are made again and again.
short answer.. they don't last long.. a year to three after the breakup

Sometimes they get married, but it depends.
Sometimes the spouse that left wants to go back to his/her spouse and work things out....Once the excitement of something new dies and routine or problems set in.
Depending on the situation, affairs can last around two years. That is how long the chemistry is supposed to last.

My ex-husband took up with a bimbo blonde and it only took him two months to realize he had made a very, very big mistake. At first it was fun and exciting going out to the bars, drinking and partying with this dame but then reality reared its ugly head and he finally saw what she really was, a drunk looking for a sugar daddy to pay the bills so that she could continue her drinking and pill popping. Now he is coming around me, wanting to work it out with me. I've told him I would only consider that if he completely cut all ties with his bimbo drunken girlfriend but he isn't ready to do that yet. Almost all affairs don't result in marriage. Those relationships are based on dishonesty and dishonesty kills any relationship, usually within 6 months.

dude that really sucks and I would never wish that on anyone because I know how much it hurts. my advice is to get out there and start seeing people, making yourself happy. there is no sure way to tell how they are going to end, maybe married or over within a month, it really depends. But to answer your question, if i was cheated on it would end with both of them being shot...(better stop here before my account gets suspended again) goodluck and stay strong.

None of them last because there relationship was based on cheating so they started out with dishonesty. This is no way to start any relationship. They can't be with most of there friends or family because they know why there together and time has a way of catching up to them.

what r the chances them staying together for long if they left a spouse? I think that it doesn't last long. If they did it once they can do it another time.

it ends when the honeymoon stage ends, when they see each other for who they really are, and not who they think they are. but whats to keep the same spouse from doing it over and over again to u, even if u did get them back? would u want to go through the hurt again and again? never being able to fully trust them, right now your ego is hurt, your blaming u, but in reality its not about u, its about someone with bad character, and low morals. have some self respect for yourself, and distance yourself from her, show her she can't disrespect u, and get by with it.

When the excitement and mystery stop, boredom and reality kick in. They go back to the same trick of finding excitement and mystery elsewhere. History does repeat itself.

A relationship that's based on betrayal and lies, no matter who is involved will always fail, because it's built on unfirm ground.
