The Departed was vintage Scorcese. Great movie.
Brick was so under the radar that there should be a slang term named after it. It was so ambitious, clever and original. If you haven't checked it out, please do so. Most of the characters are high school students, but the plot and atmosphere are classic film noir (even the notable dialogue).
I haven't seen Babel, or the Good German yet, so I'm kind of biased to the above two.

Donnie Darko (2001) in the 15 year shrink and not finished and utter rubbish like Transformers and Twilight! Why is it while perfect movie questions arise maximum of persons can basically flow back in the final 2 years????
