Hi my laptop is Fujitsu N3530 and I'm trying to upgrade the CPU and GPU(graphic) if possible.
spec: CPU: Intel Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz Yonah
RAM: 1gb
GPU: Mobility Radeon x1400 (16x PCI express)

I've heard many people says that they could upgrade Laptop's CPU as long as you match the spec.
So I'm trying to upgrade my Core duo 1.83 to Core 2 duo series CPU
Do you think it'll support Core 2 duo?
if it does can you tell me where I could buy CPUs for laptop?
(it'd be better if its offline store like bestbuy or Fry's)
Or is it possible to use desktop cpu for my laptop?
but if I use desktop CPU wouldn't it eat up the battery life faster?

One last question.. is it possible to change gpu? because when I opened up my laptop once it looked like I was able to take out the gpu chip. If I can where can I buy it?

You can upgrade the CPU in some cases, but you may have to download an updated BIOS. You can't change the GPU. Each laptop graphics card is custom-designed to fit in each case, and they don't sell them on the open market. You may be able to find one on Ebay if your model of laptop (or similar model) was available with a higher-end GPU and someone's willing to sell it, but it's unlikely.

If you really want to ENJOY PC games, get a good gaming rig, forget the laptop and get a desktop.

You can NEVER fit the REAL gaming cards on a laptop. The REAL gaming cards consume more power than your laptop, that's why they need a power supply most likely heavier than your laptop.

Desktop CPU for a laptop? I just wonder how you would fit those huge heatsink fan. But then, some have tried and used water cooling. I just don't know if you could still call the water-cooled setup a laptop.
