Suppose I were making a timeline of someone's life together.
I need a good "remembrance" song to play in the background while I show pictures of the good times.

Something like, "Good Riddance" by Green Day.
Any suggestions???

These suggestions are all really great so far, and I'm probably going to have a hard time picking just one.

But I forgot to add this one detail... I'm making a video to remember my friends, for graduation... so...

"Only Time" by Enya. It's a very delicate, soft song that is reflecting.

Here's the lyrics:
--_--_--_--_--_--_--
Who can say
where the road goes
where the day flows
- only time
And who can say
if your love grows
as your heart chose
- only time

Who can say
why your heart sighs
as your love flies
- only time
And who can say
why your heart cries
when your love lies
- only time

Who can say
when the roads meet
that love might be
in your heart
And who can say
when the day sleeps
if the night keeps
all your heart

Night keeps all your heart

Who can say
if your love grows
as your heart chose
- only time
And who can say
where the road goes
where the day flows
- only time

Who knows - only time
Who knows - only time

"Photograph" by Nickelback. But I'm not too fond of the song and it's not exactly like "Good Riddance."

Hmm...how about "Thnks fr th Mmrs" by Fall Out Boy or "Don't Forget About Us" by Mariah Carey?

I do not know the name of the song I would reeccomend, but it sounds like this, "Grandpa, tell me about the good old days. tell me about yesterday..." and so on. it is what my family played at my Grangfather's funeral.
