no, I do not feel that evil has anything to do with the other party - just pure ignorance.

No, I don't believe the party "opposite" me is evil. I just tend to disagree with a lot of what they say and believe. However, I also happen to AGREE with some of what they say. I'm a Democrat, but I tend to be right in the middle, and I do NOT follow the party line - I make up my own mind, and support the Republican position on some issues.

I am a hard right winger and I do not believe that the Democratic Party is evil. My friends are Democrats and so are members of my family so it is hard to just say all of them came from some evil spawn. I use to be a Democrat and left because I realized that policies of appeasement towards terrorist and big government do not help America and in fact they hurt it. I believe that Democrats do care about American and genuinely believe that they are doing what they think is right. They equally love this country as much as any other Republican. I just believe that they know so much that is not so and are gravely misinformed on many issues. That is just my take. Hope that helps. --- Jeff

I think there are leaders in the Republican party who pull a lot of strings and who are evil. They get a lot of good people to follow them by waving flags and talking about family values and giving them some minor tax cuts. Some small minded, non-thinking people like to act big by repeating the talking points put out by the evil leaders. They are some of the right wing nut jobs you read on here.

I'm a Democrat (could you guess?)

Evil, no. But Democrats have been clueless on economic policy for decades, going all the way back to FDR. (The last Democrat president I liked was Grover Cleveland). On the other hand, I have to give some credit to the Clinton administration (particularly Treasury Secretary Robert Rubin) for bringing the Democrats a little credibility in economics. But that's all in the past now, and they seem certain to go back to the idiotic semi-socialist policies of days gone by. Thus, it's very difficult for me to vote for run-of-the-mill Democrats, despite the horrific job the Republicans have done lately. Basically, I know that the Democrats aren't going to do any better.

I'm a "soft" libertarian. All parties have really upstanding members and members that they wish they could sweep under the rug so no one will talk about them.

Basically, evil is a human trait. You can have evil people anywhere.

That beings said, no I don't see other parties as evil, though I've seen quite a bit of venom on both sides on this board.

As a die hard right wing card carrying member of the conspriacy and all that which is Republican - no. I do not think the Democrats are inherintly evil as an organization; but some of them sure are.

I don't think the opposite party is evil. I'm conservative. What I do think is that they're playing so much politics against the Republican party that they have failed to come up with real ideas of their own. They've shown me no fact or new ideas that would make me want to vote for them.
Their only idea is to take the troops out of Iraq and bring them home. Why? As soon as Iran finishes a nuclear weapon and bombs Israel, we'll have to go there too.

Im Republican and I do no think that about democrats... granted I am very moderate, I believe we are all Americans. I also believe that people place too much emphasis on Party affiliation rather than the persons character.
