Any tips on how to start a home based answering service business?

Find a small local sales & marketing or consulting business that needs someone to answer their phones. Then, branch out by adding more like them. I have an individual answering phones for me ... I travel a lot on consulting trips, and I usually have my cell turned off when I'm with other clients.
