It might be time to visit a doctor for a professional opinion. Also, I recently read that stress can interfere with conception. Some couples conceive after they quit trying because they aren't so stressed about it!

its only been 5 months. TAKE IT EASY. THE average couple takes 9-12 months to concieve a child. ITS HARD to get it bang on the first month.

IF you suspect something CHART your Cycle. GET a BBT Thermometer. take your temp every morning. Track your cervical mucus. THIS way if after you get 1 year of charts saying something you might then want to investigate going to a fertility clinic.

Usually the abortions would not have an affect on you UNLESS you have quite a bit of scaring from the D&C's.

sure there is a small chance your abortions have something to do with this. There's a chance your boyfriend has a low sperm count, there's a chance there's nothing wrong with either one of you. I've known people for whom it took a couple of years to get pregnant.
Have you been on pills as contraceptives? Anybody that tells me they don't affect fertility is a moron in my book.
I'd say why do anything to minimize your chances?
We have always been skeptical of modern medicine, so we said no to "the pill' as a form of contraception, avoided any medical treatments that involve messing with your hormones, we try to eat healthy, natural food and getting pregnant has always been easy (have 3 kids to prove it). Every single one of our friends that used pills/chemicals for contraception took very long to conceive. I'm talking 1-2 YEARS of trying. So I don't believe this is just "coincidence".

There's a LOT of junk science out there. They will tell you what you want to hear. The truth may be different.

I doubt it. I had two abortions and still got pregnant the first month we started trying for a planned pregnancy. I was told by my doctor the only way it would be affected is if you had an infection but if you went to your post op checkups they would have told you if there were any problems of that type.

I had a D&C for a miscarriage and i have heard that is the same thing they do for abortions. I got pregnant right after we started trying so I don't think it is you. Try your boyfriend, he might be having some problems.
Good luck

Go to endocronologist or naturopathic doc who specialize in hormones and get your thyroid checked to make sure that is or isn't causing the infertility. Sometimes just a small dose of thyroid medication can help you get pregnant. Many family docs don't do comprehensive testing and only treat if you are "outside" the "normal" range.

OR....... go to google and type in: infertility hypothroid

GOOD LUCK TO YOU!

You can try this little trick my gyn gave me. If you ovulate on the 14th, you need to have sex on the 10th, 12th and 14th. Sperm can live 2 days inside you. Also don't have sex everyday. He needs to replenish his stock and that takes 48 hours to do. So you might want to take a little break for a couple of days prior to the "10th" or the first day you try.

does ur bf wear underwear or boxers cus that can aid in low sperm count, underwear heats the testicles which causes low sperm count sometimes, tell him to get checked he may not be able to fertilize u, or u might not be ovulating even though ur having ur period every month on time, its possible, both of u get fertility testing that should rule it out,

good luck
