I completed an application online for Costco... Less then a week later they call me up and leave a message saying that they are hiring and want to setup a interview. I call them back and talk to a lady that sets up the interviews, I agree to have a interview on thursday.

I show up at the Costco complete 2 interviews one with a supervisor and another with a department manager for the position. The department manager and the supervisor, both say I did good on the interview.

Anyway to make a long story short, when I left that day the department manager says I will get a call back on friday or saturday to setup the 3rd and final interview with the assistant manager. Come friday and saturday no call from Costco... I call back on monday to talk with the lady that setup my first interview, she isnt there so I leave a message for her with my number and regarding my 3rd interview.

Its been a full week and still no call. Should I assume they are not interested in hiring me?

I think you should make one more call stating that you have interviewed and would like to know if you are still a candidate for the position. Be polite and keep it brief. This way, at least, you will have an answer. Either way, consider it good experience. This interview will prepare you better for the next one, in the event you were not chosen for this job. If they do not hire you, thank them for their consideration and learn from the experience. Best wishes on your job hunting.

contact the public relations department at COSTCO and demand an answer ....they will look in to the management at the particular store you interviewed for ...pretty sure they'll offer you job of the person that ignored your phone calls.
There's three rules for getting hired in this world....persistence, persistence and persistence.

I would call them back and ask to speak to one of the people you had the interview with and ask why you haven't gotten a call. Sometimes this can be really helpful if you didn't get the position, ask them what changed their minds and use it to your advantage in future interviews.

dont assume anything either call or go back to see how your application is being handled.if they know you are still intrested there may be another position you could be hired for even if the other one has been filled.good luck.

Make a final call: "Hi, I just wanted to clarify your instructions from our last meeting. Was I supposed to wait to hear from you regarding my third interview?"

That will settle the matter once and for all.

I would give it one more try. Call once more. Perhaps you are dealing with someone who is "scattered". It won't hurt to try.
