What is there to be gained when we already lead the others in technology and both import and export? We would find ourselves paying out more to support them in trying to help them catch up. They however, have everything to gain.

The European Union has existed for about two decades, and each nation there has maintained their political, economic, social, and cultural independence. Also, the citizens of those member nations enjoy the privileges of free travel between and among other countries of the Union, although. they still must have a passport. Additionally, they enjoy the economic benefits of being able to find the most inexpensive prices for consumer goods by shopping in other countries.
The European Union has not produced one giant nation, nor has it produced an integrated political, economic, social, or cultural national entity. Thus, the experience of the European Union indicates that the formation of a North American Union would provide significant benefits for all citizens of such a union. Those benefits would far outweigh any initial difficulties associated with the formation the union.
There is no reason to be xenophobic about the possible formation of a North American Union, and there are many, many benefits to be gained.

I did not think anyone to the south or north thought much of America. Why on Earth would you want a union? If America stays on the path it is on you can take it for yourself in years to come.

Sure. Our country will be expanded by 100 million Mexicans and 25 million Canadians. Our country will be infused with three distinct and Strong cultures and languages. We will be truly an Empire of English, French, and Spanish speaking people's in the New World. The single greatest empire to ever exist. And trust me, we'll need it to compete with China. The paltry 500 million or so in the NA union will still be smaller that India and China, two great nascent empires that predate us.

Yes. There will be work building the corridor to kansas city, from mexico. The chinese will build the port in mexico.
Another benefit is that congress won't be bothered with any needed laws, (automatically enacted by committee) . They can spend more time on other stuff.
BTW the link is A/V- you can listen.
