First you want to make sure you have enough things in your wardrobe to wear something different each day of the week. So seven tops and bottoms, and one pair of somewhat causal shoes- at least. It's better if you have a bit more than this, to allow greater variation. Then you must think of special occasions. Make sure you have outfits for formal events- interviews, dates, etc.

Well, it depends on how many outfits you wear and if you would wear something twice in 2 weeks. If you wouldn't you need a lot of outfits so therefore you should have more clothes. As for me. I usually never wear anything twice in two weeks. Well, I do for jeans. I have about 8 pairs of jeans, A LOT of shirts, about 7 pairs of shorts, 4 mini skirts, 10 pairs of shoes, and only 2 bags. So yea...

At least 3 pairs of jeans, 1 denim skirt, 2 other kinds of skirts, 2 pairs of shorts, 3 pairs of shoes, and 10 shirts. Jewelry can be limited to whatever you want, just don't overboard!

Hope this helps! =]

I think you should have min 5 pairs of pants, 7 of everything else. however we can't really get to greedy, we should be thankful for what we have.

im my closet i have about 9 pairs of pants, 25 sweaters and hooties, 9 pairs of shoes, 12 underwear, 18 pairs of socks 16 pairs of shorts, and then some bumming around the house clothes i keep in my dresser.

I have too many clothes, it's nice to have but with a selection only means larger laundry loads. I do laundry when i start to run out of clothes and it sucks washing all my clothes

as much as you need, sometimes you can never have enough... but you need the basics, 1 light and dark blue jeans, maybe a black jean, jeans skirt, formal skirts if needed khaki pants, khaki skirts, formal pants, if you need suits, a couple suits, shoes to match what you have, but you must have tennis shoes, sandals, dress shoes, and flip flops, if you like dresses, have a couple dresses it all depends on your taste!

You can never have too much !!!

But seriously, if you're looking to downsize your wardrobe...go through everything and get rid of stuff that you think is not really in style anymore and give it to a charity or the homeless.
