I think some of our pop culture is an unconscious version of this for example, Marilyn Monroe as Aphrodite.

The neo-pagans want to take religion backwards rather than forwards, so they would dress up the old gods in new clothes to attract modern folks to drag them backwards....

I really believe so. As far as dress I dont know..
There is actually a large group that believe in them and openly
worship them, even holding ceremonies in many monuments of Greece..
