It's probley your computer. try truning ur router on and off and reconnecting all the cables. if that does not work try setting a new key for the router. set up a new network on your computer with that router. Is ur computer even picking up the singnel? go to internet exploer, go to tools and diagnose connection problems and try that. if all fails, get a new router.

Go to Wireless Network connection properties thru Control Panel, then the Wireless Networks tab. Make sure this box is UNCHECKED - "Use Windows to configure my wireless settings".

Make sure the laptop is detecting a wireless signal from the router. Otherwise, wifi is not enabled in the router or there is something wrong.

Now, on your laptop's wireless software configure it so that it would have identical WEP encryption as the router. Use "Infrastructure" wireless mode.

Hope this helps.

check your wireless config utility, either dell or windows, and make sure it matches your router setup. password, ip provider, wep type, key, etc.. use a cable for the router access if you have to chg settings on the router.

You need to configure the firewall settings of your laptop.. or maybe you need to configure the IP manually..
