For as long as there has been life on this planet gasses of one kind or another have been present. For millions of years these gasses haven't been a threat, then all of a sudden they are? No, global warming is a natural phenomenon, and nothing we can do will stop it, but governments, being the greedy institutions that they are will do anything to create revenue. Top question, that I have pleasure in answering.

It's human created. And if we're talking about taxes, therefore money, the real money is in denying global warming is caused by humans, this is because oil, gas etc have a fortune to lose directly, but lots of other industries, for example air travel, from the changes society would have to make. Saying that global warming is just a natural phenomenon is just the easy option, avoiding all responsibility.

The idea that governments would use some thing like the global warming issue to raise taxes is a crazy concept. Lazy people are just using the idea as a convenient way of doing bugger all about it!

There must have been at least 5 specials on TV this
week. It's hard to believe you didn't catch even one.
The one on ABC last night was outstanding, or you can
check out "Planet Earth" on Discovery channel tomorrow
night. The photos are quite explanatory & make the truth
undeniable.
Did you see Yahoo's opening page for Answers?
Even they are into it.
NBC is doing a show on it right now. If we don't pay
attention to cleaning up our planet, we'll all be wearing
masks, like they do in China - because the Chinese
didn't take it seriously - now they are.

According to the hundreds of scientist around the world who contrinuted to the latest IPCC report, it is certain that we are contributing to the problem and there is a very high likelihood that we are the cause.
According to those who think that science is some sort of dodge or hustle unless it explicitly backs up there opinions and "gut feel", global warming either doesn't exist or it's some sort of natural phenomenon.
Given the choice between the scientists or the people who post on here (the same one's that say people should be locked up for disagreeing with them), who would you side with?

Both is a good answer. We all want clean air and should do what we can to get it, but the left is using it as a devisive wedge against capitalism, industry and business to tax.
