Obviously the Virginia Tech shooter felt in his mind that what he did, is what some people deserved (a massive group... stereotyping every Student in his head). In some wierd way it must have been "justified" in his head. He knew it was wrong obviously, but what do you think drove him to that point? How do you think he justified his actions to himself?

Some people are just plain bad.
If you think you can find a rational explanation, that normal people can understand, for something like this then you're just fooling yourself.

He had obvious paranoid ideation. He was delusional. He believed that everybody was conspiring to make him miserable for their own pleasure. (If you believed this, you would be angry too. If I believed that, I would sure be angry.) He thought that people had given him no choice but this, and that he was like Jesus Christ.
This is a brain chemistry disorder, and not caused by anything that anybody did to him. I feel very sad for the family, with all the terrible things that people are saying about them, when they had no part in it and likely had no idea what was going on in their adult son's mind. And, the law being what it is, there wouldn't have been much they could do about it if they had known.

He may have though that killing those people would bring justice to the world or something like that and killed him self because if he lived another day and the police got him he would suffer and live in jail. But it was sad that he wasn't here to tell us why he did it and what he felt in his mind
Or maybe he was tired of being bullied and couldn't hold it anymore so he decided to take action

I think he was insane.
I can't think of any other way someone could justify the murder of 33 innocent people.
