As a doctor, I've met a person who was, in a sense, allergic to water. They had aquatic pruritis. The symptoms -- itching, burning, and/or a prickly sensation -- usually show up within minutes of coming into contact with water. There are no visual changes to the skin, although some people do get mild (but itchy) red bumps on their chest, back, arms or legs. And although doctors don't know the cause for sure, the most popular theory is that it's a hypersensitivity to additives or minerals in the water. Hope that helps.

I do not think it would be possible to be allergic to water because everyones human body consists of 70% water.

impossible since your bodys 3/4's water. They could be allergic to something in unpure water though.

I don't think so...but that would be really unfortunate if it existed. Basically, you'd die. I mean, our body's are made up of 70% water, which would mean that your body is killing you just for being a body...weird

No. Allergens are proteins. There are none in water (no other organic material for that matter)

I have heard of this rare condition.
There must be special liquids void of certain things.
