what a bunch of poor losers. they can't even compete unless they have their home fans to make them feel warm and cozy. what a display of unprofessionalism from both McLennan AND the coaching staff to allow that. it just shows what type of organization Calgary really is.
did you see how the whole game? the Lames were off. flying around like drunk birds. totally missing checks....slamming into the boards, missing the Wings players by a foot or more.
then they come up w/ that weak excuse for a fight w/ Phan-oof (or Phan-oaf, better said). he got put in his place and taken right down. then they try to act tough at the end of the game so that they can continue to play dirty like they have the whole series and injure one of the wings.
they've been outplayed the whole series. they barely squeaked out 2 wins. both by one goal. they've been outshot, outscored, outplayed, and outclassed (in terms of professionalism too). the wings have beaten them by 3, 2, and now 4. what losers.

suspensions----McClennan, Iginla, Nielson, and last but not least Playfair...The pansies at the HQ in Toronto need to show the Calgary Predators that there garbage has no place in the NHL. Take their show to the UHL or one of the other goon league minor leagues.

Teams lose their cool sometimes, particularly when they're thoroughly dominated in a critical match. That may not be a reasonable excuse for 40 minutes worth of penalties in the 3rd, but s%&t happens.
The Flames embarrassing themselves has little impact on Detroit. The wings have too much experience to get caught up in any antics or sideshows going into an elimination game.
Now, Calgary's 30 home wins come into play. Can they pull off another tomorrow night to force a deciding game? Will the back-to-back games across the continent have any effect on an older Detroit squad?Those are the questions. The rest is just noise.

Well it was sure a low class thing for a club in the NHL.
I have never seen our coach jump on the bench...the thing is it certainly did not accomplish anything and I hope they do suspend the offending goalie for the rest of the season. I hope the guys can finish them off without getting hurt...I guess Calgary feels if they cannot beat us on the ice they will try and beat us into the ice. We will overcome this and the better club will win. Go Wings!

I agree totally with you. The way they played was so uncalled for. They should have just excepted the fact that they were goin to lose but instead they wanted to show that they are little kids tryin to play hockey. If i was one of there fans, i would be so embarrassed to be pullin for them.
