Mustard on toast...

I don't know if this is considered weird or not. When we were struggling college students, my roommate and I (we shared an apartment off campus) used to fix corn beef hash or roast beef hash omelets a lot. We figured that eggs were cheap and relatively good for you. Spaghetti was also an inexpensive but popular meal.

One night we went to the local grocery store and bought the usual fare that we could afford on our limited budget. I don't recall exactly what we bought or how much it cost but probably the most expensive single item would have been a pound of ground beef.

We had driven to the store that evening .Instead of carrying the bags of groceries out to the car ourselves, we elected to drive right up to the store for the convenience. The carry out boy loaded in what seemed to be more sacks of groceries than we bought. However, we quickly dismissed the idea there could have been a mistake made and returned to our apartment.

When we started to pull the items out of the bags, we quickly realized that we had been given the wrong groceries. Instead of the cheap, cost cutter food we had purchased, there were center cut pork chops, a whole chicken, quality brand canned fruits and vegetables, cereal, etc.

And yes I know we should have gone back and returned the stuff but we didn't. But my conscience does bother me at times.

Have I ever been fixed, since the day I was broken?

I ate a lot of ephedrine when I was homeless once, but maybe that was more like swallowing, than eating. I suppose it would depend on how you define eating.

Last week I ate clams for the first time, you know, right out of the shell. I would have to say that was a bit weird. I don't think I will voluntarily do it again.

Also, maybe the worm from the tequilla bottle - though again, I mostly swallowed it.................

Okay, enough.........................=P

When I was 18 I lived with 2 other roommates. The government was big on giving out surplus foods then. We lived on government rice and this gross block cheese for 4 months. Au gratin rice for months on end. The cheese was so nasty---it was old and crumbly----disgusting.
