so this guy asked me to prom in the cutest way and i said yes.. my friends likes or liked him though and we've been friends since kindergarten.. so she got mad and said it was unforgivable and stuff like that.. but when i said i yes i really didn't think it'd matter because she's boy crazy! and i wasn't talking to him or anything like that before he asked me it happened like the day after someone told me he was gonna ask me.. but i didnt really think anything of it because i thought it was just a rumor.. and me and her are friends again but she said she didn;t want to know a single detail about prom and that she still never will forgive me but that shes gonna put it outta her mind or whatever.. and i still dont think that she was right to be mad and stuff either.. and when we were fighting she told me "dont think he likes you because he only asked you since the other girl already had a date." so i need some opinions.

It isn't your fault that this boy isn't interested in her. Does he even know that she has feelings for him? Boys don't like it when girls come on too strong. You didn't say whether she had dated this boy or not.,if she has never dated him, then she has no right to be angry with you. If you really value her as a friend, then maybe it would be better not to go out with him. But if I were you, I would not give up a chance to go to my prom just because your friend got her feathers ruffled. After high school, friends tend to go their separate ways. There is a lot to keep in mind and to consider here. Think it all over real good...weigh the pros and cons , and then make your choice.

She's being very childish and selfish. A good friend would be happy you get to go to the prom no matter what the circumstances might have been. A good friend would then make a pact with you that at the prom, you'd change partners with her so she could dance with the guy. She could go to the prom and generally hang out with you and this guy so maybe she'd get a chance to talk to him, get to know him. She'd rather blame you? For getting the opportunity to maybe possibly set her up with this guy? Right. Go have a good time. If she's said she doesn't want to know anything, honor her request. She has no reason to be mad at you; she could have turned your good luck into her good luck too but didn't have the imagination or gumption so too bad.

She was obviously just jealous there is nothing you can do but talk to her like you did before this all happened. If she can't forgive you, then maybe she wasn't as best of friend as you thought it was. All in all, I hope everything works out for you.

well she had a reason to be mad but she should of just forgiven u if she was boy crazy and she shouldnt of told u that he only asked u because the other had a date, that sounds totally mean.
