Why dont people believe in jesus that he died for us and is alive again and god I do why dont you?

people have a hard time believeing in someone they can't see or hear. I believe the same as you in God and Jesus and Jesus died for us. I don't understand either how people would rather believe we evolved out of monkeys then where created by a wonderful Loving God

Some people get lost in their beliefs and their religion. Everyone goes through that phase where they don't believe but soon enough they go right back to Jesus (or their God). I went through that phase at the beginning of college. But now I know God is there and He knows what is best for me, my life is in His hands.

Well, my theory is that human beings by nature are skeptical. Man enjoys feeling important.. prior to the advent of science he statified this need with the idea that he was the center of the universe. Given that science has shown that as humans we are not as 'important' as we would like to belive.. some poeple have deided to refute G-d's existence. In saying there is no god, they have given themselves the idea that they are completely incharge of life.. that there exists no concequences for ones actions.
There by restoring the sense of control and importance previouly held by man-kind.
Remember.. It's but a theory.... not fact.

I don't believe in superstition and never have because I don't have any reason to do so. What if someone asked you why you don't believe Zeus, Santa Claus or Mickey Mouse actually exist?

Its too hard for them to comprehend what they can't see.
And its too hard for them to believe, pray and give worship to someone they can't see and if their prayers don't get answered then they just give up. But I know from living rock bottom for 6 years, there is a God and I really love it that he is there to rescue me and everyone else.

Because we live in a world where people make up their own minds about what they want to believe in you can't make them believe if they don't want to.
