Future paychecks would seem like a pretty good motivation. Especially compared to the possible alternative: "Would you like fries with that?"

As the old NIKE commercial used to say. "Just Do It". I know it sounds simplistic but that's how everybody manages to trudge on day after day doing what has to be done. it isn't like we are all so motivated and have so much energy. Rephrase your question: "How do I go to work when I lack motivation and energy?" (Doesn't it sound kind of childish?)Learn it now. Learn how to just do it. Because soon you'll have to anyway. And if you have a college degree you'll make more money doing those 40 hours per week that you have to put in anyway...and it will be a better job.Maybe one that you enjoy more than one you got because you couldn't get anything else.

Everyone goes through a stage like this at some point in the academic years, some it happens more than once too. i think the main thing is that you unconsciously realise that there's only 9 days left and have therefore lost your motivation. i went through a similar phase at the beginning of the year, and i found that by setting myself set times to do work on the different days helped me overcome this problem as i HAD to do the work, and then i'd reward myself by going out after, i.e. to the cinema. my mind set was to do the work i needed to do and then i could have fun, you need to balance to work and the fun. don't worry, you've got 9 days to go anyway, you'll be fine.

The best answer to this is to spend enough time each day on doing your homework. It becomes more difficult , when you get behind with your work.
Example :
Let's say , you need to spend 2 hours per night on your homework......
Leave it for one day, and you have TWICE as much to do......leave it for 2 days....and you have THREE times as much to do...etc.
That's when the thought of the work , outweighs the effort....and you lose energy and motivation.
Put as much time as you need to catch up, then keep in front....you will find life a lot easier !
I didn't.......and I have paid for it all my life !
I am 55 yrs old now. That is a long time to keep paying , for the lack of a couple of hours per night Homework !
Good luck! Get your head down ! Please !?

I always do things ahead of time so that I can relax. Meanwhile, others procratinate and worry, while I am done. This motivates me to not be a procrastinator. Listen to some music while you work (but don't do this when you are studying).
Take breaks and don't over-do it.
