interestingly which you will purely have freedom of speech in case you hold removed from faith, canines breeding and politics, faith being the worst. have you ever no longer had inner maximum emails yet that incorporate textile that does no longer be imprinted on the communicate board? those often come from religious fundamentalists and the contents are actually no longer God like. then you somewhat've the undeniable previous recommendations lifeless. in the event that they won't be able to understand you by using their lack of ability to understand or reason and now and lower back basically seem alive, they'll insult, digital mail, record or however as they won't be able to stand all people which could string a sentence at the same time. You quickly locate out who each and each physique of those cretins are, they might't help themselves.

Like almost everything American, and I believe Yahoo to be American. It appears one thing and is quite another. It certainly does sensor things, but on what bais. It does seem there is a personal bias going on. I suspect there is a team of people who check questions and answers. Some play by the rules while some I think have there own agenda. They are probably told to pull anything that is in violation of the rules and more importantly anything you feel is a bit iffy. That leaves it wide open to interpretation and some of them blocking questions and answers that they personally don't like regardless of the community.

I don't want to defend the yahoo police, but I have a suspicion that you may have used a bit more than the word "vigilante." That makes no sense. Also, why hasn't this question been removed? It contains the word.

There is no freedom of speech on Yahoo Answers because Yahoo is private with a list of rules telling you what and what not to do. If you also read it says they have the right to remove any material, or account they wish for any reason and without warning, so no, you do not have freedom of speech on Yahoo.

You don't have freedom of speech on yahoo answers. It's a private site which is bought and paid for by yahoo, and therefore they call the shots.
You can of course say whatever you want on your own website, in public, and in many other places, and that is freedom of speech.

I don't believe in message board censorship, but this is a site of "answers." It comes up in search engines and people actually take the information seriously. I think YahooAnswers has to take steps to keep the answers section legitimate. Once a site loses its credibility, people stop coming to it. Apparently, Yahoo has bigger plans for YahooAnswers in terms of advertising and, therefore, are doing their best to keep it a credible section of Yahoo.

Around easter I wrote a silly question about St. Bunnikus filling easter baskets; some crazy religious nut must have protested because that question was pulled as offensive. What, St. Bunnikus????? Yahoo Answers is losing its edge.

It is totally inconsistent. I have seen some really offensive questions here and they don't get removed whilst other inoffensive questions get removed. I've seen many questions asking 'why was my question removed' and I can't usually see any reason for it.

WHen you are in a privately owned business, website, whatever... YOU have to abide by THEIR rules. Period.
Freedom of speech entitles you to speak out against our government without fear of the government coming and hauling you away.
When there are posted guidelines, THAT is what you abide by, or you get the boot.

The primary problem I see is rants................which if you look back at your answers would suggest your questions might look the same.
Quit ranting about something and start asking real questions.
BTW, I did not see what they pulled.
This forum is turning into propaganda central for the democrats and republicans, it is getting out of hand.
