ok this isnt for school or anything, i just am trying to speak metaphorically in a letter i'm writing. can someone please try to help me out? i need an example of something that is considered to be relentless and never-ending.

How about ocean waves, continually pounding the shore?
Especially on the East coast, where cliffs are worn down to beaches eventually.

Various natural phenomena, such as the cycle of day and night following each other, the force of gravity, the ebb and flow of tides in oceans, death following life, the passage of time, etc. are a few examples.
