Why does my shark have red bumps under his mouth?

OH yes he is housed with 3 other sharks and 2 cichlids

Sounds like he's either irritating his mouth by trying to pick up sinking food on gravel that may be too sharp, or he might have a Costia infection. If the gravel doesn't sound like it would be the cause of the problem, try raising the temperature of his tank to 86-90o (do the change slowly, a few degrees each hour), provided your fish can tolerate this temperature. Keep it there for a few days, and you may want to provide a little extra aeration during this time. If you want to treat chemically, a good antiparasitic medication for Costia.

You might also want to keep an eye on him to make sure he isn't engaging in any territorial disputes with another fish in your tank by locking jaws with them!

These could also be small tumors.
