I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.

Well im not really sure =/ Im 5'4 and I weigh 120 lbs.
Im usally a 5/7(Juniors). In a shirt size Im a medium/large because i have a pretty big chest. I myself am trying to loose a few lbs - not so much that im overweith but the fact that i dont feel comfortable in a bikini and i want that confidence

well now, you are 5-7 and 132lbs,and you say ,or have been told that you have a big butt, unless you want to look like j-low you may consider losing weight, but from where i am sitting ,and what i see.........nowaaaaah, girl you look fine, if you are not happy with what you see, or what others see , then go ahead and diet, but always remember... beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I think us women are far too hard on ourselves. Do you ever hear men worry about this crap!?!?
If you want a scientific answer whether you should lose weight or not, lets use the BMI. With a height of 5'4" and a weight of 134 lbs, your BMI is 23. Normal body weight is any BMI under 25.
Also, the fact that your "extra love" is down on your behind, and not around your waist is actually a GOOD thing! People with more visceral fat (belly fat) have a higher incidence of heart disease, and diabetes.
So don't put yourself down, girl!

I understand when i was in the sixth grade i was wearing a size 1 but my butt and legs were big so i say keep the butt lose the legs
since my belly wasn't big i have no tips on that

You sound fine to me. You only need to lose weight if:
1. Your body fat is too high, i.e. more than 28%-30% body fat for a teenage girl.
or;
2. You are carrying too much body fat around the abdomen, i.e. bigger than a 32 inch waist.
Otherwise it is not necessary to lose weight unless you personally want to. Maybe you just need tone up.

That is around my size only flipped. Small butt but big boobs. I always think I need to lose weight even in my small size 5s.

Maybe like 10 pds if your really dedicated. But your weight is average for people your height so u don't have to worry about health issues.
