Men do not like getting 'attitudes' from women and unfortunately a woman can get one with her man for a long period of time. It could be over something minor that he did or a series of things that he did. Regardless no man should be given a bad attitude from his woman for any reason. However, I know that women's hormones affect their emotions so I would be willing to give my girl 10 minutes without any disciplinary action. However, that is only if you could tell she was mad but she didn't say any words. If she 'talked back' I believe that crosses the line and she would deserve to be disciplined. I believe this is being fair but firm and is needed in a relationship because men are the head of the household and should lovingly discipline their wives for their own good and the good of the relationship. Just as government is in charge of citizens, a man must be in charge of his wife. What do you think? Both men and women are welcome to answer.

Your ten minute limit seems fair but just realize that sometimes women need to express how they feel. Your girlfriend should be able to do this calmly without fear of reprisal. How do you differentiate between what is considered talking back or her just venting an opinion?
It would be great if my fiancee had a 10 minute rule because I generally take things way to far and always need the last word...so I can see how this rule would be a benefit.

I don't think they should have to deal with a woman's attitude at all. Men don't deserve that!
They work hard to support their family and the very least us women can do is cook for them and clean the house WITHOUT an attitude.
Girls these days just aren't being taught to be submissive and obedient to their far superior man. I am so happy you are here to enforce that in the girls of this new generation!
The world would be a much better place if all women listened to you.
Ultimately I think it should be up to the man though. If the man likes to hear a complaint once in awhile (though I'm not sure why any one would want to hear complaints but then, I'm just a lowly woman) then maybe the man would give the woman a few seconds to get her act together before giving her a good firm spanking or whatever he uses for disciplinary matters.

I guess 10 minutes is good. You should probably also let her "talk back" during that time. A girl has to be able to get things off her chest once in a while. As a man, you should be able to take anything she has to say. What's it going to hurt?
You should know to ignore her if she says anything really bad when she is angry. People in relationships have to ignore a lot of things. What's that saying that you should go into a marriage with your eyes wide open and then keep them half shut afterwards. I guess you have to keep your ears half shut too.

I am given one warning for the most part. after that I know that if I continue there will be consequences. The longer I continue the more consequences I add on. And yes I add them on through my actions. As long as it is agreed upon at the begining of the relationship it is NOT abuse nor is it sick or wrong.

I think you are a d!ck! And you don't know the first thing about a relationship. First of all she isn't your property, she isn't your child, she is your wife, your partner. Treat her with respect and she will treat you with respect back. Neither one of you know how to talk to one another. You don't discipline your spouse, that's disrespectful, maybe it's time to either cut your losses or seek advice from a marriage councilor.
