You are a unique individual. Don’t dwell on those things outside your life in general. Take a walk, get some sun. Listen to the children playing – take an old-timer for ice-cream. Smile at someone – live life to it’s fullest. Ignore those negatives that try to surround you – look up. Society as a whole is invested in negative news and energy. You never hear someone say “wow this or that person did such a great thing” they always say something negative. Don’t hang around those people. Move on with your life.

Not at all. Look at all the good stuff!
New cars, green technology, flat screen t.v.s, my vacation to Hawaii. My son learning to play ice hockey and soccer. The pizza I ate last night. The meteor shower tonight. Camping and fishing next weekend.
There is so much great stuff out there

There are elements in the world today that frighten me, but not any of the ones you mentioned. But sure, always be cautious of your surroundings.

No. It makes me want to live more. To make the most of the time I have, the time my children have, the time my loved ones have. I don't know what the next minute brings. And I want to live every minute to the best I can.

honestly in the city that I live in... I'm kinda on guard anyway. like...anything can happen at anytime, anywhere, but I do not go out to night clubs or bars or concerts, or the movies at night because a fight is always breaking out or someone is always getting shot. I should not have to live like that but in this area it is bad.

You can live in fear if you choose. Start surrounding yourself with positive message and influence, and you will feel better about things.
