Yes, they divorced when I was in 3rd grade. Now they've been gone since before I was 30 so I can never say all of the things I've learned since I grew up and had my own kids.
Too bad actually.

Yup. Divorced when I was 5. The best gift they ever gave me was that of never speaking ill of the other one around me. They never used me as a pawn or a bargaining chip. To this day -- 40 years later, they are still polite around each other. Thanks mom and dad.

No. My father is deceased. That was always a fear of mine when I was growing up even though they really had a pretty good marriage. My children however are not that fortunate as their father and myself are divorced.

No. They're married under Catholic laws and they don't allow divorce. But they've been separated for 23 years now.

No. My parents had been married for 63 years when my mother died. My father had not been happy for the last 60 though.

they are both dead...but lived in a loveless marriage for over 4o years.. most mismatched couple on the face of the earth..should have divorce long before I came along..

No, she died just a few months short of their 40th wedding anniversary. I was 20. Daddy died at Christmas time the next year. I sincerely hope, wherever they've gone, she appreciates him a little more, or he's able to avoid her.
